B2V worked across 20 districts of Odisha to build awareness of the Agriculture Marketing Infrastructure scheme among the stakeholders most critical to its success. Rather than a top-down information campaign, B2V convened diverse groups including farmers, local traders, input sellers, cooperatives, FPOs, bankers, and NGOs, recognising that scheme uptake depends on the entire value chain understanding its benefits, not just individual farmers.
Each district engagement was designed to create direct dialogue between scheme information and on-ground realities.
The program reached over 1,000 stakeholders across 20 districts within a single operating year, one of the broader geographic coverages B2V has achieved under a single government-funded mandate. By bringing together multiple actor types in each district, the engagements created cross-stakeholder awareness that individual outreach could not have achieved.
The program also strengthened B2V's working relationship with CCS-NIAM and the Ministry of Agriculture, establishing a foundation for future government-partnered work in Odisha.
